“What you see about my paintings, says a lot about who you are.”

Different series. One voice.
Every series explores a different emotion, space, or rhythm —
but the lines, the eyes, the fragmentation — they’re unmistakably Jocey.

I don’t paint to decorate. I paint to reveal.
Not myself — but what it triggers in you.

The “eye” symbol appears often — not as a motif, but as a question.
A symbol of presence. Of how we look, and how we’re seen.

What you see in my work says more about you than it does about me.
That’s the point: to open something. A response. A reflection.

There’s a kind of play in the process too.
Not everything is planned — and I like it that way.
People often see things I didn’t put there consciously.
But if they saw it… then it exists.

That’s what I love. The shared interpretation.
There’s no right or wrong. The painting becomes yours the moment you look at it.
